Sie gelten als der militante Flügel sozialer Bewegungen oder als Jugend- oder Subkultur. Es existiert aber auch eine lebendige Theorieproduktion und -rezeption - beispielsweise im Rahmen des Postoperaismus, die mehr bietet als die bloße Befürwortung von Militanz. Autonome tauchen immer wieder auf: als eigene Bewegungen, wie zum Beispiel die Autonomia in Italien und die Autonomen in Deutschland, oder als Teil sozialer Bewegungen, als berühmt-berüchtigter Schwarzer Block in den USA, Europa und zuletzt sogar in Ägypten.<br/>In Robert Foltins Buch werden jene (Revolutions-)Theorien vorgestellt, die in autonomen Szenen diskutiert werden, Wertkritik und Antideutschtum ebenso wie Strömungen, die in soziale Bewegungen intervenieren wie Operaismus, autonomer Antiimperialismus, Insurrektionalismus oder Anarchismus. Am Beispiel konkreter Kämpfe und Auseinandersetzungen wird das Spannungsverhältnis von selbstbezüglicher Subkultur und Massenwirksamkeit ebenso angesprochen wie jenes von Spontaneität und Organisation. |
